yellowducky's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Goofiness of The Day My co-worker is now more convinced than ever that I am certifiable. I've been feeling a little sheepish since my first read-through of my novel becuase I realized that I did a few silly things--like unwittingly changing someone's occupation halfway through the novel, drop a few characters without resolution, etc. Well, I was reading through the NaNoEdMo website forums and I saw that other people had the same issue I do. People changed eye color, height, weight, occupation, pets---one person even changed GENDER. I started laughing so hard I was crying. Tears were streaming down my face. It's the best laugh I've had in ages. I've decided that I'm going to hold with my no flirting rule, but I'm over my bitterness (for the most part). My no flirting has nothing to do with bitterness, but everything to do with lack of interest and apathy. I just can't think of anyone in my circle who's worth the effort right now. Besides, it's NaNoEdMo! There's a time and a season for every thing, and I just don't think this is my season for dating or flirting. That does mean I'm going to have to find other things to write about on this diary land or I'll have to stop writing altogether. My escapades with boys has been the driving force........
