yellowducky's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The loss of a friend? My friend helped me put up my NaNoWriMo icon, showing the world that I wrote a novel in a month. We were supposed to link it to the NaNoWriMo web page, but we were starving and anxious to get to lunch--so we forgot. That will happen soon--I promise. Of course, you see it took me 1 1/2 months to get the icon up in the first place, so don't hold your breath. We went out to lunch and my friend told me that he might be moving to Canada for six months. Wow, that was a shock. I wasn't expecting it. I've gotten so used to him always being around for me, always willing to spoil me, take care of me when I'm sick. I try really hard not to take advantage of him, but it's really nice to know that's there's someone there that you can rely on if you need it--you know? He's been a huge blessing in my life. He's so stable, so trustworthy, so much the kind of person I'm trying to be. I talked to my brother last night, he had very exciting news, but I can't write it here in case my website is infiltrated by unauthorized users (you know who you are :(.
