Tomorrow morning is going to be so much fun. The next best thing to being with my family, in fact. I get to watch all the kids at the shelter open their presents. Walmart gave us $100 a person, so everyone is going to have plenty to unwrap in the morning. ****************** I got to flirt with the pilot again yesterday. I was worried because he came up to talk to me after church, but I was really busy and had some business to attend to. He waited patiently until I was done, and then cornered me for awhile until he had to go to work. That's a good sign, right? He's fun to tease. If I tell him I don't believe him about something, he suddenly becomes very intent on proving it to me (hehe). ******************** My boss called me into her office on a very important matter this afternoon. She wanted me to squeeze Eor's hand. So I did. He told me to ask him a question. I asked him if I was ever going to get married. He said, "not likely." Bad Eor. Bad, bad, bad. I've always liked Pooh and Tigger better than him. I thought my boss was going to pee her pants. ******************** I met a new guy yesterday. He's a 31-year-old-dating-a-20-year-old, I-like-pain-so-much-I'll-beg-my-wife-to-hit-me-with-the-frying-pan, no-concept-of-appropriateness, redneck. He asked for my phone number. I gave it to him. I claim temporary insanity. He was a figment of all my worst nightmares and I froze. My family's pull on me proved to strong! I was mentally dragged back to tractor pulls and pig roasts. I thought I'd become, if not exactly "hip", then at least a bit "citified". But no, they can always spot me. I have some invisible sign that proclaims me of overall-wearing-and-truck-driving stock.
